The
First Conference of Donors to the Trust Fund for the Urgent Return
of the Refugees and the Displaced to Bosnia and Herzegovina was held
in Doha, State of Qatar, on 21 Safar 1422 H (15 May 2001).
Representatives from the following states participated in the meeting:
The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of the United Arab Emirates,
the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Islamic
Republic of Pakistan, the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh, the Republic
of Turkey, the Peoples Democratic Republic of Algeria, the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Sudan, the State of Palestine, the
Republic of Tunisia, the Republic of Lebanon, the Great Socialist
Peoples Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Malaysia, the State of Qatar, the
Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kingdom of Morocco, the State of Kuwait,
Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Gambia, Republic of Senegal, and the Sultanate
of Oman.
Representatives from the following organizations also participated
in the meeting:
The Islamic Development Bank (Jeddah), the World Islamic Relief Organization
(Jeddah), the Islamic Call Organization (Khartoum), the Islamic Solidarity
Fund (Jeddah), and the Islamic Masheikhat of Bosnia and Herzegovina
(Sarajevo), the Qatari Charitable Foundation, the Foundation of Sheikh
Aid Bin Muhammad, and the Qatari Red Crescent.
H.E. Ambassador AbdulRahman bin Hamad Al-Attiya, Undersecretary at
the Foreign Ministry, State of Qatar, chaired the sessions of the
Conference.
